Joel Stangeland

Chief Executive Officer

Joel brings to Trek Global more than 18 years in the IT industry. Prior to Trek Global, as COO of Idalica, he assembled a team of experienced ERP consultants and developers and drove the design of the ADempiere ERP system. This contribution grew the company from ground level to peak revenues of $2.4 million. Joel’s previous experience includes project management developing a web application with a $9 million annual ROI on process improvement, as well as SAP implementation and upgrades using the ASAP methodology, resulting in a measurable return on a multimillion dollar implementation in less than one year.

Joel Hoffman

Senior Project Manager

Joel Hoffman has over 15 years of experience with large software solutions, with many of those years focused on SAP implementations and data warehousing. Since 2006 he has become heavily involved with emerging open-source solutions, primarily ADempiere and Compiere. He has led projects ranging from streamlining manufacturing and warehousing processes to developing custom web stores with payment and shipping integration. Joel has also integrated EDI partners into many local ADempiere installations, supporting EDI transactions with major vendors such as Amazon, Nordstrom and Home Shopping Network.

Heng Sin Low

Senior Software Architect

Heng Sin Low is one of the active members of the ADempiere ERP project at SourceForge. He has been in the software development field since 1997, involved in business application development for both small and big enterprises. One of Heng Sin’s major contributions is the porting of ADempiere to PostgreSQL. He is now the primary maintainer of the ZK web client for ADempiere and leads a development team helping to implement ADempiere for several clients of various sizes and business domains.

Carlos Antonio Ruiz Gómez

Systems Engineer

Collecting and applying business knowledge since 1986, Carlos has worked in almost all the areas of an IT department. His first exposure to open source dates back to 2001, when he was hired to make PostgreSQL run on a SCO-Unix installation. Then, in 2006, Carlos participated in the birth of the ADempiere project as a founder, providing functional and technical advice and guidance during the first four years of the project. Although Carlos has wide experience in various areas, he defines himself as a developer. In his leisure time, Carlos enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, going to the movies, traveling, and sports such as basketball, swimming, table tennis, and carom billiards.

Deepak Pansheriya

Development Team Lead

Deepak has worked in the software industry since 2004. A passion for technology caused Deepak to develop a range of technical expertise rather than focusing on one specific domain or technology. For example, he has programmed in a number of languages, including Java, VC6, VB6, .Net and Qt. He has also acquired experience with both proprietary and open source product development. In the area of open source products, his customizations have focused on ERP, CMS, portal servers and ticketing systems. Roles in which Deepak served have varied, too, from software architect to serving as a tech lead with India’s largest consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Deepak worked in the petroleum, banking, automotive, and manufacturing industries. Deepak’s favorite leisure-time activities include spending time with his wife and two children and staying in contact with friends.

Elaine Tan

Java Developer

Elaine is a Java developer. Her previous experience includes software development focusing on mobile computing using Java based development for Great Eastern Life Assurance, American International Assurance (AIA) and Allianz Life Insurance. She has extensive knowledge and experience in Java programming, ADempiere, database design (in Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL) and software development for desktop, web and mobile devices.

Isaiah Salinas

Network Systems Administrator

Isaiah has developed extensive experience working in the IT field for the past 15 years. His long list of accomplishments includes the setup and administration of DNS, VPN, SQL, firewalls, email, and web servers for various companies, as well as for ADempiere/Compiere ERP applications and Joomla systems. Isaiah provides Linux/Mac/Windows support, and develops system scripts for various administrative tasks.

Angie Glawe

Project Manager and Technical Communications

Angie has more than 20 years of experience in office and team management. She began her career in the accounting department of a large manufacturing company. Since then, Angie has worked both as an office manager and as a staff manager for various service companies, as well as in a student management capacity. Most recently she was the Development Coordinator for a large ERP customization project, and is currently the Project Manager for new ERP development. Angie is a Certified ScrumMaster professional.

Ross Martin

Engagement Manager

Ross has more than 12 years' experience working in the light manufacturing and distribution industry. Some of his past job duties provided opportunities for him to work extensively with the safety department of an international chemical distributor. He worked closely with different teams to develop and implement best practices based on dynamic storage and shipping requirements. Ross also enjoyed working with the IT department as they developed and installed software designed to improve the movement and tracking of inventory through the enterprise. When not at work, Ross takes time to enjoy his surroundings in the Pacific Northwest.

John Rygielski

Engagement Manager

John is an IT professional with more than 30 years of experience as an employee and consultant for quality organizations, including FleetBoston Financial, Bank of America, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers & Lybrand, and the Thermos Company, resulting in a broad range of experience in the manufacturing and distribution, retail pharmacy, financial services, and banking sectors. As a Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst John has experienced success with in-house application development, package installation and rollout, merger/acquisition integration, existing application configuration and enhancements, and production support across a wide range of financial and manufacturing applications.

Lee Soo Fang

Senior Developer/Software Engineer/Programmer

Soo is a developer with 11 years of experience in the IT field. Prior to Trek Global, she worked as a senior systems development specialist. Soo’s duties involve coordinating system programmers and project managers, developing applications using Java within various frameworks, and integration with SAP ECC 6.0. Her other experience includes working with ADempiere, PL/SQL, Power Builder, Data Warehouse, Oracle 10g, Oracle 8 and JD Edwards.

Angela Long Won Gin

Application Consultant

Angela’s experience in the IT industry spans more than 6 years with roles and responsibilities covering project management, consulting, developing, maintaining and quality assurance. She has delivered projects across various industries, both in the government and private sectors, including the implementation of services for the e-Government flagship and working as a business analyst for Electronics VISA System (eVISA). Angela is also involved in managing and testing ADempiere Open Source ERP, as well as retail and reseller web store projects.

Forrest Carr

Support Manager

Forrest graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Business Finance. While earning his degree, he gained valuable knowledge of Compiere during a year-long internship at OtterBox - a local Fort Collins business that designs and sells protective cases for handheld technology. Since joining Trek Global, Forrest has held the position of Support Manager and has expanded his knowledge of Compiere's sister ERP software solution ADempiere. He was also named project manager of the time management system add-on for ADempiere, "BiziTime." When Forrest is not behind a computer screen, he enjoys being outdoors and has six years experience as a river raft guide. This gives him valuable hands-on experience with problem-solving, leadership, and team work. In his free time he likes to spend time with his family, go hunting and fishing, and play competitive soccer.

Jason Martin

Testing Coordinator

Jason brings to Trek Global a background in logistics, warehouse management and warehouse software implementation. Jason’s experience in implementing and teaching warehouse software, combined with his strong communication skills, makes him a valuable asset to Trek Global. As a Testing Coordinator, he applies those skills to organizing and driving the testing efforts for Trek's ERP implementations and software development projects. When he is not working, Jason spends time with his four children, with volunteer activities, and enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.

Becky Pettigrew

Communications Specialist

Becky Pettigrew has developed a range of technical and communication skills through her 18 years’ experience in public library administration. She has produced monthly e-newsletters and other special communications, developed training materials and presentations, maintained websites and Facebook pages, led project team work, facilitated group discussions and assisted in strategic planning. She also has experience in human resources, focused primarily on staff development and performance management. Becky received her bachelor’s degree in business management from Marylhurst University. In her personal time, Becky enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, reading and being outdoors.
